"Eagle on Fence Post" by Patti Deters. An American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus, falconiforme) perches on a barbed wire fence post at the edge of a field filled with blooming purple flowers. This is a lovely summer country composite scene set at the edge of a hilly forest of trees.
