This American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) has caught a fish by snatching it out of the water, and you can just see the little minnow if you look closely. The small pond was near a river so the snow and ice stayed by the shore. The eagle is the National Bird of the United States, and even when standing and eating, she looks majestic, tough, and strong.
