“Blue Jay Peanut Flight” by Patti Deters. This beautiful Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) spreads her wings and takes flight with a peanut in her beak – and you can just see the tip of another peanut stuffed in her mouth. These (Corvidae) birds are greedy and aggressive at the feeder and take all the peanuts away to cache them around the yard.
