"Yellow Prince's Plume at Arches" by Patti Deters. The bright yellow spike blossoms of this wildflower are called Prince's Plumes (Stanleya pinnata) and also goes by Desert Plume, Golden Plume, and Sentinel of the Plains. Native to the western USA, it is commonly found in open desert landscapes and is valuable to pollinators because it blooms from spring to fall. This plant was found in Arches National Park in Utah.
