"Trumpeter Swan Waking with Two Ducks" by Patti Deters. I was lucky to watch a Trumpeter Swan ‘Cygnus buccinator’ wake up on the river perfectly placed facing two still sleeping ducks near the ice. She slowly raised her head from where it had been tucked into her body, floating low in the water. Its always interesting to me the waterfowl don't freeze in the cold winter ice and water. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years.
