These mammals are the largest land animals on earth and are know for their intelligent behavior and peaceful nature. The saying, “An elephant never forgets”, is based on the fact that this matriarchal leader can remember water and food sources discovered decades ago, allowing them to be very adaptable to changes in food and water sources. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
