This is a digital nightscape / seascape of a catamaran sailing on the blue sea under a full moon - such a romantic mode of transportation and a fun way to travel. A flock of birds can be seen in silhouette as they fly off in the distance. The many shades of blue in the water and sky along with the light texture overlay give this scene a peaceful and calm feel. About Patti Deters
Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
