"Blue Mountain Layers" by Patti Deters. Driving along Alberta 93 during evening dusk emphasizes the layers in this British Columbia (Canada) mountain range north of Banff National Park near Peyto Lake - showcasing nature's amazing painting skills. You can just see the peaks of Mt. Murchison and Mt. Sarbach in the distance. The GPS location of where this photograph was take is at 51°44'12.528N, 116°30'29.862W. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
