"Eastern Bluebird Texture" by Patti Deters. This pretty little Eastern Bluebird (Sialia sialis) perches on a tree branch, perhaps taking a rest from their constant foraging. These cute songbirds are colorful with their rust colored breast and white under feathers, and always exciting (for me) to see in the wild. Several textures and overlays have been applied to the photograph to create a painterly artwork.
