Description
"Spring Scilla Flower w/Texture" by Patti Deters. This early spring ephemeral is known as Scilla, Squill, or scilla-siberica, one of the lesser spring blooming bulbs. The flower color is called blue, but it actually looks more purple. This diminutive wildflower plant is one of the earliest to bloom in my Zone 4 garden. This is a close-up macro photograph with several texture overlays blended for artistic effect. I invite you to please enjoy more of my nature and floral artwork at patti-deters.pixels.com.
