Description
"Spring Ephemeral with Texture - Muscari" by Patti Deters. This is artwork of small spring blooming flower bulbs, known as ephemerals, which are some of the earliest blooming wildflowers in Minnesota. This variety of Muscari is also known as Grape hyacinths. When blooming, the dainty cluster of flowers resemble a bunch of grapes. They will naturalize (spread) in nature so after planting even just a few you will have them in your garden forever. In this art piece, I've isolated one single flower stalk and surrounded it with soft green pastels with a bit of pink and white textures and bokeh.
