Description
"Raven at Bryce Canyon" by Patti Deters. A close-up portrait of a large black Common Raven (Corvus corax) standing on a rock post, possibly admiring the scenic vista of the cliffs and hoodoos in the background. These large black birds are common in the Bryce Canyon National Park area of Utah and can also been found all over the world. The ravens is larger than a crow or blackbird and has a more robust beak as can be seen in this photograph. Ravens are also one of the more intelligent of all the bird species.
