"Peony Bud with Raindrops on Pink Texture" by Patti Deters. This lovely pink peony bud has survived a spring rain shower and is covered with raindrops, helping it get ready to bloom. The flower was photographed in from a side view, in profile, to show all the different shades of pink and to capture the light. Peonies are an early bloomer in my spring garden, and are a favorite blossom for Mother's Day. I've added a texture with similar pink and pastel colors to create an artsy painterly look.
