"Peaceful Pastel Blue Morning Swan" by Patti Deters. A single white Trumpeter Swan (Cygnus buccinator) is floating peacefully in the blue waters of the St. Croix River near Hudson, Wisconsin. These beautiful and graceful white birds are one of the largest of all waterfowl and are absolutely lovely when seen with their necks twisted around, like this one, with the beack tucked into her wing feathers. I've added a simple blue and pink texture and some bokeh lights for an artistic effect to this minimalist painterly image.
