"Orange Flare Forest Blur" by Patti Deters. A small lone orange tree shows off lovely fall colors in this autumn landscape with forest aspens and birch trees framing the plant nicely. I added a blur and texture to give it a soft, painterly, and the somewhat abstract look of a long exposure with motion blur. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
