"Mt. Rainier" by Patti Deters. Mt. Rainier rises above the landscape in Washington State. The beautiful and scenic mountain seems to float above the pine tree forests and hills, high above the meadow of wildflowers in the foreground. The mist and fog wisps were just starting to burn off as the day progressed, showing the glaciers and snow capped mount. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
