Description
"Mallard Duck Dance Tango" by Patti Deters. Two Mallard ducks 'Anas platyrhynchos' appear to be doing a funny Tango dance in order to impress the female. Generally Mallards form pairs in the fall, then court in the winter, and breed in the spring. These birds are usually monogamous, but three parent families are not uncommon either.
