Description
"Giraffe Love - Painterly" by Patti Deters. A pair of giraffes appear to show affection for one another - gives new meaning to the term "necking"! An interesting fact is that the patterns of their spotted coats are individual to each animal - no two are alike. Giraffes are the tallest land mammal alive today, with adults standing up to 20 feet tall and are sometimes referred to as megafauna because of their size. This pair was photographed at a drive through wildlife park and the painterly textures and flowers help create a more romantic image. Square crop.
