Description
"Four Swans Landing" by Patti Deters. Four Trumpeter Swans (Cygnus buccinator) fly in synchronous formation as they prepare to land in the open water from a flight across from the frozen shore. This spot of the lake attracts these great white birds during the cold winter months and allows for some much-needed foraging. Photographed in Wisconsin on the St. Croix River. Please enjoy more of my (birding, animal, outdoor) images at patti-deters.pixels.com.
