"Friends are like Flowers in the Garden of Life" by Patti Deters. I love this quote because it is so true and a good reminder to us gardeners to cultivate friendships as well as our plants! The purple iris was given to me by a friend, so there is a hidden meaning for me to the quote and the artwork, too. The flower bloom is isolated and placed on a parchment paper with the quote, with a black background to hold it all in place.
